ABC's of Going Home with Your Baby
($75)
Learn about newborn’s appearance, capabilities, wardrobe, equipment needs, daily care and bottle-feeding through open discussion, hands-on activities, lectures and films.  Offered as two-part evening or one-day option in combination with Breastfeeding Your Baby.

Becoming a Grandparent
($35)
Prospective grandparents learn the latest in childbirth and infant care.  Includes tour of Maternity Center. 

Breastfeeding Your Baby
($35; $25 if taking ABC's of Going Home with Your Baby)
Give your baby a healthy start – learn breastfeeding basics.

Calm Birth
($60 - class fee includes Calm Birth CD)
Birth method based in complementary medicine, using practices of neuromuscular release and meditation.

Childbirth Mini Classes
Each mini-class meets for one two-hour session
($45 each)   

• Techniques and Teamwork for Labor and Birth
  Learn breathing and relaxation techniques, as well as ways to use visualization, music, massage, aromatherapy and positioning as tools in labor.
  
  
• Epidurals, C-sections and More
  A discussion of medication options available in labor (including epidural and spinal anesthesia), induction of labor, and cesarean birth; perfect for moms with scheduled or repeat cesarean section.
  
  
• Your Baby's Birth at Overlook Hospital
  Includes information on signs of labor; when to come to the hospital; and the labor, delivery and postpartum experience at Overlook Hospital, as well as a tour of the Maternity Center.

Early Pregnancy
($35)
Attend before your sixth month of pregnancy.  Learn about comfort techniques, prenatal exercise, fetal development, nutrition, physical and emotional changes, and working during pregnancy.  Return in your seventh month for Prepared Childbirth: Instruction for Labor and Birth.

Especially for Siblings
($35 for first child; $5 for each additional child)
Prepare future big brothers and sisters for the arrival of a new sibling through family-focused activities.  Exchange tips with other parents during children’s snack time.  Includes tour of Maternity Center.

Go Baby Green
($35)
Parents-to-be, new parents and caregivers learn about everyday cleaning products, their hazards, safe alternatives and ways to create a non-toxic home environment.

Maternity Orientation
($15)
Slide show followed by question and answer session, and tour of the Maternity Center.

Prepared Childbirth: Instruction for Labor and Birth                      
($120 for series; $150 one day class)
Prepare for the big event.  Topics include physical and emotional changes during labor and delivery, comfort measures including breathing and relaxation techniques, partner’s role, medication options, post-delivery recovery, and cesarean birth.  Offered as a weekday or weekend series or as a one-day option. Class also available in Spanish.  Includes tour of  the Maternity Center.
